Winter is coming

That may seem like a strange observation for mid-August, but tomorrow is the deadline to buy a season pass at locals' prices. As I write this the ski season countdown clock at the bottom of the page shows 101 days to go, but now that I have my 2005-06 pass the ski season can't come quickly enough!
